A WEEK OF HONORS FOR VALCOURT'S J. ARMAND BOMBARDIER MUSEUM
May is an emotional month for Valcourt's J. Armand Bombardier Museum. At the beginning of the week it received a new designation sticker « Bienvenue Familles » (« Welcome Families ») issued by the Conseil Sport Loisir de l'Estrie (CSLE) and this Friday, the museum will participate in the final round of the Grands Prix du tourisme québécois to be held at the Quebec City Convention Centre.

New Special Exhibit in Valcourt Celebrates Ski-Doo's First 50 Years
The J. Armand Bombardier Museum is pleased to invite you to the opening of a special exhibit, in collaboration with BRP, celebrating the evolution of the snowmobile from 1959 to 2009 in honour of the 50th Anniversary of the Ski-Doo®. Honorary chair of the event is Madame Janine Bombardier, eldest daughter of the renowned inventor.

100 Hours of Open House

Between February 8 and 23, more than 5,000 visitors crossed the threshold of the J. Armand Bombardier Museum (museebombardier.com) during the 100 hours of Open House event highlighting the 100th anniversary of the birth of the renowned inventor and entrepreneur.

Launch of the new roadster Can-Am Spyder 2008 at the J. Armand Bombardier Museum during the Grand Prix Ski-Doo weekend at Valcourt!
During the Grand Prix Ski-Doo at Valcourt, which runs from February 16-18, the J. Armand Bombardier Museum will launch the brand new roadster Can-Am Spyder 2008, the first on-road vehicle designed by BRP.

100-hour Open Days at Valcourt Museum!
To mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Joseph-Armand Bombardier, the Musée J. Armand Bombardier will have a 100 hours free admission from February 8 to February 23 2007. The new exhibit ion Joseph-Armand Bombardier, A passion for invention and entrepreneurship, will take visitors on a journey of discovery through the history of the Ski-Doo® snowmobile, which now boasts tens of millions of fans worldwide. The exhibit also explores the origins of the world transportation leader, Bombardier Inc.

100th anniversary of Joseph-Armand Bombardier:
Valcourt hosts two new exhibits in 2007
In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Joseph-Armand Bombardier's birth, the J. Armand Bombardier Foundation (the Foundation) will present two new exhibits in Valcourt next year. Beginning February 8, the J. Armand Bombardier Museum will open a permanent exhibit called Joseph-Armand Bombardier 1907, Birth of an Inventor, and beginning April 15, the Yvonne L. Bombardier Cultural Centre (named after the founder's wife) will host an exhibition of the works of artist Frederick Simpson Coburn.
