The 1966 Panther snowmobile

Manufactured by Arctic Enterprise Inc. of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA.

The 1966 Panther revolutionized snowmobile design with unprecedented characteristics in the industry. Its most outstanding innovation was an aerodynamic riveted aluminum chassis featuring lightness, flexibility, and strength. The new chassis was a first in the history of the snowmobile, and was adopted by all manufacturers.
