EXHIBIT
From June 6 to December 21, 2008.
This exhibit at the J. Armand Bombardier Museum in 2008, the year in which Laurent Beaudoin passes the
torch on to his son Pierre Beaudoin, is the J. Armand Bombardier Foundation's way of paying tribute to the
achievements of a man whose values, personality and vision have imbued the product lines of Bombardier Inc.
ever since 1963. Entitled "Laurent Beaudoin en action" the exhibit traces the fascinating life and career of the
man who has left his indelible imprint on this world-class corporation in eight sections.
SECTION 1 - LAURENT BEAUDOIN: THE PATH TO SUCCESS
This part of the exhibit presents Laurent Beaudoin's life and career from his childhood days in Laurier-Station to his rise to chairman of the board of Bombardier Inc.
SECTION 2 - THE COMPANY HE KEEPS
Here visitors will learn how Bombardier, spurred on by Laurent Beaudoin, the Bombardier family and their employees in Valcourt, entered into mass production of the snowmobile. In a market that continues to grow and evolve, the Ski-Doo® remains the world leader in the snowmobile industry today.
SECTION 3 - WORK HARD...PLAY HARD
The exhibit presented in this area shows what makes Laurent Beaudoin run: pure adrenalin. Sports are a passion for him, and a big part of his life. He loves to get on a team with partners he admires, or measure himself against an opponent he can respect. The urge to win motivates him 100%...with uncompromising integrity, eyes wide open and focused on the goal to be achieved.
SECTION 4 - VISION WITHOUT BORDERS
In this part of the exhibit, we learn how Laurent Beaudoin's intense curiosity about the world around him fuelled his ambition to carry his work beyond conventional frontiers. Under his ambitious and farsighted guidance, the Bombardier name has acquired an enviable reputation worldwide. Its transport vehicles encourage human contact and discovery, while its international activities create new relationships between countries and peoples
of diverse cultures.

SECTION 5 - LEADERSHIP FOR GROWTH
Here visitors can discover how Laurent Beaudoin's positive approach promotes a spirit of initiative and achievement. His motivation is to get organizations, people and projects to grow. He has used his natural business instincts to give struggling companies the means to achieve their full potential. And he has made it possible for Bombardier to rise to the position of world leader in its respective sectors.
SECTION 6 - THE POWER OF COMMITMENT
Heading a large company means creating jobs and contributing to the prosperity of your community, while maintaining a solid financial foundation. This can be a source of pride, but also a heavy responsibility to bear when the economy falls on hard times. In this section of the exhibit, we see how Laurent Beaudoin has always met his commitments with courage.
SECTION 7 - BOOM TIMES IN VALCOURT
Here the exhibit takes us into the municipality of Valcourt. Like Joseph-Armand Bombardier before him, Laurent Beaudoin remains actively involved in the community where he worked from 1963 to 1977. From the early 1960s to the early 1970s, Valcourt's population tripled. Today, with its wealth of fine sports, recreational and cultural facilities, this vibrant municipality continues to grow.
SECTION 8 - MOVING AHEAD TOWARDS TOMORROW
At the end of exhibit, visitors will see how the Bombardier Inc. product line has changed and been transformed over the years, as the company's approach has adapted to the fluctuations of the market and business environment. But throughout this journey we've explored, one constant remains: the desire to grow and evolve. This is the true spirit of Bombardier. The same spirit that inspired its founder, Joseph-Armand Bombardier, and which Laurent Beaudoin has passed on to the man who will now shape its future, Pierre Beaudoin.
